Men are highly visual creatures, and in order for ladies to attract their attention there are certain physical characteristics to pay close attention to. This can be achieved in a number of very simple ways – without expensive equipment or cosmetic treatments.
The good news is that women can do a number of things to enhance their hair, skin, and other attributes of their sex appeal with a few simple and low cost tricks.
Use Diet To Make Yourself Sexy
There are many things that you can add to your diet in order to add to your sex appeal. Check out some of the following to see what you might be able to do to make your skin, hair, and smile sexier to attract positive attention and feel more confident.
For sexy hair: Add foods that are iron and protein rich, such as red meats, turkey, oysters, or eggs. If you are vegetarian, try different types of lentils. Also try to incorporate foods into your diet that are rich in B-6, B-12, and folate vitamins. These are foods such as most meats and fish, clams, oysters, mussels, and other shellfish; vegetables like bell peppers, spinach, potatoes, green peas, yams, broccoli, and asparagus; nuts like peanuts, sunflower seeds, cashews; and various cheeses such as Swiss, mozzarella, feta, and parmesan.
For clear, healthy skin:
Add foods to your diet that are rich in beta carotene, vitamin c, vitamin e, and omega 3 fats in order to make your skin glow. These include orange fruits and vegetables such as carrots, mangoes, apricots, sweet potatoes, and (of course), oranges. You can also try adding some guava, sweet red or green pepper, kiwi, grapefruits, strawberries, sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, hazlenuts, pine nuts, peanuts, tomatoes, spinach, pumpkin, broccoli, asparagus, crab, shrimp, tuna, salmon, sardines, and halibut.
For an irresistible smile:
Drink a lot of water to keep both your skin and your teeth very healthy. Make sure your pearly whites stay pearly by skipping the dark-color sodas, or using a straw when you drink so the liquid bypasses your teeth. Also make sure you keep plenty of calcium and vitamin D in your diet by drinking milk, eating cheeses and yogurt, and enjoying mushrooms, salmon, herring, sardines, catfish, tuna, eggs, and sunshine.
One thing that can really help any woman feel confident and sexy is her figure, and a quick, easy way to ruin that with food is to be bloated and heavy. Bloating is unnecessary, and a side effect of gas build-up and water retention. To avoid bloating, try to cut certain things out of your diet such as carbonated beverages, carbohydrate and fat-heavy foods, sugar alcohols, and items that are processed and salty. Instead, make sure you drink lots of water and incorporate a lot of protein into your diet. If you can eat several small meals throughout the day rather than the traditional three large meals you will also likely keep your stomach small.
Exercise To Keep Your Body Sexy
Many people know that exercise will help you stay attractive and healthy, but it’s hard to find the time and to know just what to focus on. Getting regular cardio workouts such as running, walking, swimming, biking, or time on the elliptical machine will help keep your overall body fat low and your metabolism high. Many women know what their favorite body parts are to work out and what parts they need help with, and most already have their favorite exercises as part of their routine. If you’re looking to try some new variation or increase your confidence without putting a lot of time in at the gym, try the following:
- For core and leg muscles: Do three or four squats against the wall for forty-five seconds to a minute at a time. Never let your knees be lower than a 90 degree angle and keep your ankles firmly under them for good support. Or try an exercise ball and all the variations of squats, lunges, seated positions, or push-ups that they can yield.
- For arms: Try using five pound dumbbells (or half-gallons of water) for bicep curls. Good old fashioned push-ups are a great way to tone triceps and upper back muscles as well.
- For back and abs: Remember that good posture is sexy and when you walk tall, you display confidence to everyone in the room. Part of having great abs is having a strong back to go with them, so after you do crunches or other abdominal exercises, make sure to incorporate some “lower back flies” into your routine. Lie on your stomach with your arms and legs extended. Lift both off the ground as if you were flying (think, Superman).
Stretching, flexibility, and long, lean muscles are key to a sexy body, so if you don’t want to spend hours at the gym or aren’t into working out really hard, try stretching each day to keep your muscles long and limber. This can also help with your posture, tone, and balance.
Staying Sexy Makes For A More Confident You
There are many things that women do to help themselves feel more comfortable and attractive in their own skin. Whether you find that diet and exercise work for you, you may also consider keeping your hygiene up, being fashion conscious – or at least, know what looks good on your body – and testing out various skin moisturizers and hair treatments to enhance the beauty that you’re building from the inside. Nothing beats a woman who is comfortable in her own skin, who loves being herself, and whose confidence shines through not because she has “made herself up” to be that way, but because she believes she simply is that way. That’s the ultimate type of confidence, and the ultimate type of sex appeal.
